Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners perform a highly valued role in contributing to greater health outcomes
for our communities. They provide clinical and primary health care services in our community health centres and hospitals
across urban, rural and remote areas in Northern Territory. These Practitioners provide health care for individuals, families and
community groups and are integral to culturally appropriate multidisciplinary care.
Remuneration Package in accordance with the Northern Territory Public Sector 2013-2017 Enterprise Agreement and your
relevant qualification and experience.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners are recognised nationally through registration with the Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia.
As part of the NT Health’s investment in this section of its workforce, we are committed to employing more Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander Health Practitioners in a range of health service settings.
Opportunities exist for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners to take up employment in a Primary Health Care context in
urban, regional and remote health sites across Northern Territory.
If you are a qualified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner who has completed a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres
