Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides
primary health services to the people of Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region, Northern Territory. Anyinginyi
offers a holistic approach to the physical and mental health and wellbeing of its clients through its clinical, social
and emotional, educational and fitness services.
The following vacancies are based within the Piliyintinji-ki section of Anyinginyi and are supported by a team of
professionals, clinical and community based staff. Successful applicants to these challenging but rewarding roles

A number of positions exist for skilled and experienced CSWs Male & Female to work in the Men’s Centre
and Women’s Centre. The main role of CSW’s is to contribute and assist with the development and
implementation of culturally responsive social, emotional and physical wellbeing services for families and
individuals, including education and outreach.
A position exists for a suitably qualified and experienced FSW (Female) to be part of the IFFS team,
working with families to ensure children are receiving the care and supervision they need to remain safe
and healthy, and to have access to education and other learning environments. IFSS provides a range of
activities to improve outcomes for child/ren through interventions that are child centered, including one-
on-one, group, and community based supports to reduce the risk of abuse and/or neglect.
The successful applicant will need to have demonstrated experience working in health or welfare related
services and knowledge of child protection legislation and mandatory reporting requirements.
These positions are designated Indigenous under Section 57 of the NT Anti-Discrimination Act.
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women are encouraged to apply.
A position exists for a suitably skilled and experienced Program Support Worker to be a part of the
development and implementation of the Women’s Centre capacity building program and initiatives. The
successful applicant will need to have demonstrated program management, data recording and reporting
skills as well as demonstrated ability to liaise sensitively and respectfully with diverse Aboriginal community
groups and a range of stakeholders.
A position exists for a committed and highly skilled FASD Project Officer. The successful applicant will
continue to raise awareness of the issues surrounding alcohol use in pregnancy through ongoing community
education and resource development as well as work with community to develop solutions.
Quality data collection and reporting, the ability to liaise sensitively and capacity to build and maintain
collaborative and respectful working relationships are major responsibilities of this role.
We are looking for a suitably qualified Client Services Counsellor (Female) to work in our Women’s Centre to
provide support, counselling and case management for individuals and their families and accommodating a
positive approach to facilitate the healing process. Our culturally responsive model requires the successful
applicant to have an understanding of and respect for the past practices and current issues that impact on
the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
A responsibility of this position will be to work closely with the IFSS team. The successful applicant will
have demonstrated experience in working within a child centered framework as well as experience working
within health or welfare related services, knowledge of child protection legislation and mandatory reporting
