FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER (FSW)

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides
primary health services to the people of Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region, Northern Territory. Anyinginyi
offers a holistic approach to the physical and mental health and wellbeing of its clients through its clinical, social
and emotional, educational and fitness services.
A full-time position exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Family Support Worker (FSW) to
be part of the Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS). IFSS works with families to ensure children are
receiving the care and supervision they need to remain safe, healthy, happy and to have access to
education and other learning environments.
IFSS provides a range of activities that aim to improve outcomes for child/ren through interventions
that are child centred, including one-on-one, group, peer, and community based supports to enhance
parenting, family strengthening and life skills to reduce the risk of abuse and/or neglect.
The successful applicant will need to have qualifications and/or demonstrated experience working
in health or welfare related services and knowledge of child protection legislation and mandatory
A current Driver’s License is essential for this position.
