The Territory Government is offering NT Heritage Grants to
individuals and organisations working on projects relating to
a significant heritage site in the Territory.
Priority will be given to projects relating to declared places
under the Heritage Act.

PROPOSED PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENTS EXHIBITED
UNDER THE PLANNING ACT
Introduction of the Litchfield Subregional Land Use Plan 2016
The proposed amendment is to the NT Planning Scheme, to:
i. omit the Litchfield Planning Concepts and Land Use Objectives 2002 from Schedule 2;
ii. include the Litchfield Subregional Land Use Plan 2016 as a policy document in Schedule 2;
iii. amend Schedule 3 to reflect updates to the Priority Environmental Management Areas –
Litchfield document; and
iv. amend specific clauses within the NT Planning Scheme to reflect the objectives of the
Litchfield Subregional Land Use Plan 2016.
