Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides
primary health services to the people of Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region, Northern Territory. Anyinginyi
offers a holistic approach to the physical and mental health and wellbeing of its clients through its clinical,
social and emotional, educational and fitness services.
The following vacancies are based within the Piliyintinji-ki Section of Anyinginyi and are supported by a team of
professionals, clinical and community based staff. We are looking at 1 – 2 years contracts and you must hold a
current Driver’s Licence. Successful applicants in these challenging but rewarding roles will be expected to:

l Use initiative and work autonomously to achieve intended outcomes.
l Build positive and respectful relationships with community and government.
Piliyintinji-ki Stronger Families is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced person to
undertake the position of Administration Officer working directly with the Section Manager to ensure
the effective and smooth running of the Section. The successful applicant will be required to start as
soon as possible. This is a full time position, requiring a high level of administration and organisational
skills. The successful applicant should also have the following attributes:
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and have an understanding of Aboriginal culture.
Ability to support the development and implementation of culturally responsive social and
emotional wellbeing programs.
Proven high level computer literacy skills including the ability to exercise initiative, discretion,
be able to problem solve and work independently within a team environment.
Ability to act as the first point of contact for Piliyintinji-ki Stronger Families displaying high
level professionalism and customer service skills.
A current Driver’s License is essential for this role.

Anyinginyi is seeking a suitably skilled and experienced Senior Case Worker to be part of the Intensive
Family Support Service (IFSS) which provides a range of activities and supports that aims to improve
family strengthening. IFSS aims to work with families to ensure children are receiving the care and
supervision they need to remain safe, healthy, happy and have access to education and other learning
environments. A current Driver’s License is essential.
Anyinginyi is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced person to undertake the
position of AOD Worker within our Piliyintinji-Ki Stronger Families section. You will be required to
provide culturally appropriate support, case management, referrals, information and education to
individuals and families in Tennant Creek and across the Barkly region. Our culturally responsive model
requires you to have an understanding and respect for past practices and current issues that impact on
the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

A position exists for a committed and highly skilled FASD Project Officer. The successful applicant
will continue to raise awareness of the issues surrounding alcohol use in pregnancy through ongoing
community education and resource development as well as work with community to develop solutions.
The ability to liaise sensitively and capacity to build and maintain collaborative and respectful working
relationships are major responsibilities of this role.
This position is designated Indigenous under Section 57 of the NT Anti-Discrimination Act.

The Territory Government has released the draft Weed Management Plan
for Athel Pine (Tamarix aphylla) and is encouraging all land owners and land
managers to provide feedback.
The draft Plan has been developed by the NT Weed Advisory Committee,
in consultation with the Alice Springs Regional Weed Reference Group,
to provide a platform for the public to identify and address their concerns
regarding legislated management requirements for athel pine.
