Brain Injury SA is seeking to appoint an Information &
Awareness Officer to build on our existing capacity and
skills. Our successful External Merits Review Program
is aimed at providing independent National Disability
Insurance Scheme (NDIS) appeal support to applicants
and participants in the Barkly region.
This program is aimed at any person with a disability
accessing the NDIS. You will be responsible for the
provision of information throughout the Barkly region in
relation to NDIS Appeals. You will work in an autonomous
role with the support of a multi-disciplinary team located

MALE ABORIGINAL LIAISON OFFICER
Full Time Position, 1–2 Year Contract
Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides
primary health services to the people of Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region, Northern Territory. Anyinginyi
offers a holistic approach to the physical and mental health and wellbeing of its clients through its clinical,
social and emotional, educational and fitness services.
Anyinginyi are seeking a Male Aboriginal Liaison Officer (ALO) to work in the Parlpuru Ninji Kari – Health
Centre. The ALO is an important part of the Health Clinic, working with Aboriginal Health Workers,
doctors, nurses and other staff to offer health services for Aboriginal and other people in the Tennant
Creek area. Some of the things the ALO would be expected to do are: interpreting, practical social
and cultural support, referral information and advocacy. The ALO will also need to liaise with other
organisations in Tennant Creek and with local Aboriginal community people. A sound knowledge of
Aboriginal culture and society is essential.
Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
