Act 2012, notice is hereby given that Barkly
Regional Council annual report 2015-16 has
been delivered to the Minister and has been
published on the BRC website.
Those wanting a hard copy of the report can
download it off the website or receive a copy
from reception at the Council office at 41 Peko
Road, Tennant Creek.

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides
primary health services to the people of Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region, Northern Territory. Anyinginyi
offers a holistic approach to the physical and mental health and wellbeing of its clients through its clinical,
social and emotional, educational and fitness services.
Piliyintinji-ki Stronger Families is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced person to
undertake the position of Administration Officer working directly with the Section Manager to ensure
the effective and smooth running of the Section. The successful applicant will be required to start as
soon as possible. This is a full time position, requiring a high level of administration and organisational
skills. The successful applicant should also have the following attributes:
• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and have an understanding of Aboriginal culture.
• Ability to support the development and implementation of culturally responsive social and
emotional wellbeing programs.
• Proven high level computer literacy skills including the ability to exercise initiative, discretion,
be able to problem solve and work independently within a team environment.
• Ability to act as the first point of contact for Piliyintinji-ki Stronger Families displaying high level
professionalism and customer service skills.
• A current driver’s license is essential for this role.
