EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - INDIGENOUS
TOURISM ADVISORY COUNCIL
The NT Government is seeking Expressions of Interest to join its
Indigenous Tourism Advisory Council (ITAC).
The purpose of the ITAC is to advise Government on the development
of sustainable and prosperous Indigenous tourism enterprises across
the Northern Territory. Members will be Indigenous people who either
have genuine tourism industry knowledge and expertise and/or an
understanding of matters crucial to the sustainable development of the
indigenous tourism industry.
Appointment as a Council member will be for a period of one year starting
from April 2017. Written applications outlining your interest and stating
your expertise should be submitted before 27 January 2017 to:

Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority Members
The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) is an
independent statutory authority that provides advice on the environmental
impacts of development proposals, undertakes regulatory activities to
encourage effective waste management, pollution control and sustainable
practices and may provide advice to Government on a range of environmental
Expressions of interest are invited from Territorians interested in joining
the NT EPA. There is currently one position available. The appointment will
commence in early 2017 for 3 years.
To be considered, candidates will have skills, knowledge and experience in one
or more areas:
• environmental science
• environmental and natural resource management
• waste management and pollution control
• economic analysis
• social analysis
• environmental law
• management in a regulatory field
Expertise and experience in regional areas and issues, Indigenous issues and
working with the community are preferred.
