The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established
under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC
represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal
people across the southern half of the Northern Territory - an area of almost
780,000 square kilometres. The CLC provides its constituents with advice,
advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land
and realise and protect their rights. The CLC currently has opportunities in the
following positions for suitably qualified persons:
EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT OFFICER— LM029— TENNANT CREEK
Classification: ASO 4— ASO 5 (Commencing $60,120 progressing to $71,107)
Full-time, 3 month fixed-term contract based in Tennant Creek
This Aboriginal identified position will provide support to the employment and
training aspirations of Aboriginal people in the pastoral, mining, construction, tourism,
land management and other industries within in the CLC region. This position in
particular will be responsible for the NGP employment intake and provide mentoring/
coaching assistance for participants undertaking the program ready training sessions.
SUPPORT OFFICER— IT003— ALICE SPRINGS
Classification: ASO 4—ASO 5 (Commencing $60,120 progressing to $71,107)
Full-time, 3 year fixed-term contract based in Alice Springs
This position assists in ensuring the efficient and effective implementation,
maintenance and improvement of desktop computer services within the CLC. This
position will provide level 1 desk support for desktop and network support for the
organisation. The successful candidate will be required to work under limited
supervision and have relevant experience in the administration and support of a

NOTICE OF DETERMINATION AND APPOINTMENT
A. A show cause notice under section 487-10 of the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander)
Act 2006 (the CATSI Act) was served on the Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation (ICN 868)
(the corporation) on 20 December 2016.
B. Having considered the representations made by the corporation, as a delegate of the Registrar
of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations, I am satisfied that one or more grounds
specified in section 487-5 of the CATSI Act have been established.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT:
1. Under section 487-1 of the CATSI Act, I have determined that the corporation is to be under special
administration from 12:01am (AEST) on 23 February 2017 until 11:59pm (AEST) on 23 August 2017
(the period of the special administration).
2. Under section 490-1 of the CATSI Act, I have appointed Mr Gerry Mier and Mr Tony Jonsson as joint
and several special administrators for the period of the special administration.
