This position is responsible for providing operational and
advisory support to the organisation in the
implementation, management and evaluation of the
integrated Quality Management System, Risk Management
processes and Health, Safety and Environmental Program
The position includes the implementation and maintenance
of safety and quality plans and procedures that allow the
organisation to respond to industry standards, relevant
legislation and current best practice.
The position is also responsible for managing and
maintaining physical and portable assets to ensure they
meet legislative requirements, our asset management
obligations and, policy and procedures.

MANAGEMENT – YOUTH ACCOMMODATION CENTRE
This is a residential position suitable for a couple whose duties
include centre management, support and mentoring residents as
well as supervising meals and ground maintenance.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO
l Provide high level administrative support to the CEO,
including diary management and travel arrangements.
l Maintaining timely and effective internal and external communications.
l Manage logistics for Board Meetings, Team Meetings, and various other meetings.
l Keep up to date details for the Board and ordinary members.
l Responding to, and filing, all board correspondence.
l Coordinate the Annual Report and assist in any other administrative
support to CEO and Executive managers as requested by CEO.

ARLPARRA, Ampilatwatja, Murray Downs
and Tennant Creek Primary students joined a
number of other schools to proudly represent
the Barkly at the recent Alice Beat Festival.
For most of the year, the students have been learning
songs that the NT Music school had given them after
visiting their schools for music sessions.
Schools involved across all the Central NT had all
come together to practice in Alice Springs earlier in the
year before the big final sing-a-long at the Alice Beat.
This year’s theme was ‘Magic’ and it was a fantastic
opportunity for regional students to perform on a large
stage in front of a big audience.
They turned on a fine performance and sang all songs
Whilst they were in Alice, the students enjoyed a bit of
shopping and also headed to the Alice Aquatic Centre to
cool off and do some water safety and swimming les-
sons with the Barkly Region School sports coordinator.
