CAT TRAPS AVAILABLE
If you are having problems with stray or feral cats in your area, arrange to
borrow a cat trap from Barkly Regional Council. For use of the trap on your
property, call Animal Control on 0448 058 394.
Council requires a void credit card authorisation of $75 which is
cancelled on return of the cat trap. This can be made either over the
phone on (08) 8962 0000 or at Council reception, 41 Peko Road.

Barkly Regional Council wishes to inform
residents that the Civic Hall will be booked
for three months from 7 April to 7 July
2018 for the Michelangelo Exhibition.
Exhibition opening hours will be Monday-

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – 001-18
RECYCLABLE WASTE KERBSIDE SERVICE
Barkly Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest for the
provision of an environmentally responsible and economically viable
kerbside service for the collection of Tennant Creek’s recyclable waste.
The service sought would also incorporate the processing of recyclable material
to achieve the maximum possible diversion from the Tennant Creek landfill into
an environmentally beneficial application.
Expressions of Interest should be marked:
‘Kerbside Domestic Waste – EOI Number: 001-18’
and addressed to the Barkly Regional Council CEO Steve Moore.
The document must be sent either by registered post to the Customer Service
Section Counter, Barkly Regional Council, PO Box 821, Tennant Creek, NT,
0861, or hand-delivered to Council reception, 41 Peko Road.
Document to be lodged as 2 x paper copies (bound) and 2 x copies on
USB or CD by the deadline of 4.15pm (ASCT) on Friday, 27 April 2018.

The position includes the implementation and maintenance
of safety and quality plans and procedures that allow the
organisation to respond to industry standards, relevant
legislation and current best practice.
The position is also responsible for managing and
maintaining physical and portable assets to ensure they
meet legislative requirements, our asset management
obligations and, policy and procedures.
