Anyinginyi is an Aboriginal community controlled organisa on that provides primary health services to the
people of the Barkly Region. Anyinginyi o ers a holis c approach to the health and wellbeing of its clients
through its clinical, social and emo onal, educa onal and tness services.
Anyinginyi are seeking a full me suitably skilled and experienced Female Community Support Worker
to contribute and assist with the development and implementa on of culturally responsive social and
emo onal wellbeing services for families and individuals within the Piliyin nji-ki Stronger Families
program. You will be required to assist in providing culturally appropriate support, informa on and
educa on in both Tennant Creek and surrounding communi es within the Barkly Region. A current
Driver’s License is essen al for this posi on.

Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS) which provides a range of ac vi es and supports that aims to
improve family strengthening. IFSS aims to work with families to ensure children are receiving the
care and supervision they need to remain safe, healthy, happy and have access to educa on and other
learning environments. You will be required to supervise Family Support Workers within their role in
Case Management of clients. A current Driver’s License is essen al.

Round one of the Territory Government’s 2014/2015 Grass Roots
Development Investment Program is now open for applications.
Funding through this grant program allows sport and active recreation clubs
to apply for up to $3000 for projects designed to:
providing opportunities to participate in sport and recreation
strengthening the capacity of sport and recreation clubs to deliver
services and programs that make for a more active Territory.

Executive Assistant to the President
Applications are invited for this position in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory.
The role is responsible for providing confidential and professional support to
the President of the Barkly Regional Council and the Executive Team. The role
is also responsible for the effective flow of administrative and governance
It is essential that applicants address the following selection criteria to be
considered for this position:
1. A sound knowledge of administrative processes and procedures
2. Experience of customer service principals and practices
3. Demonstrated track record and extensive experience in a similar
role, with strong accuracy
4. Ability to recognise sensitive information and maintain a high level
5. High level written and verbal communication skills with
demonstrated ability to write detailed formal reports and proposals
6. Innovative and practical approach to problem solving
7. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and
meet conflicting deadline
8. Strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
9. Commitment to the development of strong working relationships
between the Barkly Regional Council, Northern Territory Government
and the Local Authorities
10. Ability to recognise problems/issues, analyse, formulate and
implement appropriate solutions
