THE Barkly Business Hub hosted a summit on Monday where businesses, non-profit organisations, and Aboriginal groups had the chance to discuss their ideas with the Northern Territory Government. 

The Minister for Business and Jobs, Joel Bowden, was present in Tennant Creek to listen to the small business sector. 

The aim was to ensure that the necessary support is available to ensure businesses in the Barkly region can remain resilient and continue to grow and thrive. 

Additionally, members from the Department of Industry, Tourism, and Trade were available to provide information about services, grants, and programs available to businesses in the Barkly region. 

The summit was an excellent opportunity for the businesses to speak directly to the government, which will help the Barkly region to flourish.
