AFTER the success of the Oktoberfest last year, the RSL once again pulled out the bratwurst, sauerkraut and steins to encourage Tennant Creek into leiderhosen once again.
Tennant Creek responded well, turning out in force for the afternoon, although it must be said that there were more steins in evidence than leiderhosen.
Once again, RSL steins were up for sale and proved to be just as popular as last year, selling out once again. They could end up being collector’s items in the future.
The RSL can be proud of the success of their second Oktoberfest, and hopefully look set to make it an annual event a long way from where it originated and given its own Tennant Creek flavour for everyone to enjoy
