Big week for the Memo Club
1 min read

THERE was plenty going on at the Memorial Club this week, the first of which was a farewell for three members of our local police who are headed off to new postings, including our Superintendent Kylie Anderson.

After almost three years in Tennant Creek she is off to Darwin, and headed for new and exciting adventures there. Also leaving us will be Garry Higgie and Rowan Benson, who will hopefully remember their time in Tennant Creek fondly.

Our departing officers were still saying their goodbyes when the Halloween party started on Saturday night, so the atmosphere continued on all evening, even without a lot of costumes around.

Of course there were a few ladies dressed up for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday afternoon, however there were no squeals of delight that may have meant a big win – there is always next year.
