IN a change from their usual Members BBQ, the Memorial Club offered members a pig on a spit last Saturday.
Delightful smells wafted through the air as members waited for the emergence of the end product, which ended up being so well cooked and tender that it collapsed off the spit.
Needless to say there were plenty of people willing to volunteer to taste test what was served up and proclaim it well done – they even remembered to have apple sauce on hand just for the right finishing touch.
