BRADAAG is on a journey of change
1 min read

BRADAAG hosted two successful workshops last week in its journey to a new way of operating that includes transparency and accountability to the community and its cllients.

The workshops were facilitated by Professor Dennis Gary from Curtin University.

Professor Gray’s valued and long-standing commitment and contribution to BRADAAG began in the mid-90s.

He led the review of best practice outcomes for BRADAAG in 2022 and is a Special Advisor to the Current BRADAAG Board.

The Working Together – What’s Next workshops were an opportunity for clients, staff, community members and stakeholders to reflect on where BRADAAG has been and its response to the outcomes of the 2022 review and discuss ways that strong collaboration and partnerships improve outcomes. Across the two workshops, over 65 people attended, with upwards of 17 local and Barkly-wide organisations represented.

Attendees were invited to join BRADAAG on the journey and contribute to a cross-community and agency voice with the first meeting to be convened early in 2024 , as reducing the harmful use of alcohol and other drug is everyone’s business and the community is stronger together.
