BARKLY Regional Council will hold a special meeting on Monday to discuss the Mayor and Deputy Mayor positions for the year ahead.
It comes after former Mayor Steve Edgington won the seat for the Barkly in the NT Election.
The request for the meeting was received by Acting CEO Mark Parsons in line with the Local Government Act.
The roles will be decided by the current councillors via a vote.
The meeting will be held at 3pm.
