Residents in Tennant Creek community living areas have had an early Christmas present from an Alice Springs Aboriginal Corporation.

The program has already delivered a multitude of white goods to the residents in Alice Springs, and it turned its attention to Tennant Creek.

Centrecorp Foundation Director Darryl ‘Tiger’ Fitz approached Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation about a partnership to distribute the cold and washing boxes.

Mr Fitz said it was vital the buy local standard was adhered to especially during these COVID-challenging times.

The products were purchased from Little Rippers Lifestyles and installation provided by Dexter Barnes Electrical.

“Centrecorp is happy to assist the Tennant Creek Community Living Area residents through these challenging times, with better food security and health outcomes from clean clothes, through the donation of the fridges and washing machines,” he said.

“The great partnership with Julalikari, which provided the support and services to deliver the goods, has been a great success and deserve a big thank you.”
