Senior ACPO Michael James was awarded the 2021 Aboriginal Community Police Officer (ACPO) Administrator’s Medal by the Hon Vicki O'Halloran, the NT Administrator.
TENNANT Creek’s Michael James was honoured with the 2021 Aboriginal Community Police Officer (ACPO) Administrator’s Medal at a special ceremony yesterday at the Council Chambers.
NT Administrator Vicki O’Halloran bestowed the prestigious medal to Senior ACPO James, with dignitaries including Commissioner Jamie Chalker, Deputy Commissioner Michael Murphy, Barkly MLA Steve Edgington and Mayor Jeffrey McLaughlin.
The medal recognises the achievements of an ACPO who has undertaken their duties with diligence and dedication and who has made a significant contribution to community policing.
