1 min read

MORE than a hundred High School students dressed to the nines for the 2020 High School Formal.

While the year 2020 was a clusterfluff for most of the country, these students took the opportunity to go all out in their fashion stakes and end the year with style and grace.

This year the theme was the ‘Enchanted Forest’.

Staff and students worked hard to decorate the venue, complete with the photo booth’s backdrop painted by visiting artist Jordan Conrad and flowers provided from Father John and Mr Whippy’s gardens.

The High School thanks community supporters including the Tennant Creek IGA and BP Complex, St Vinnies and Uniting Church Op Shops, Barkly Regional Arts, Nicole and Marcus, the Primary School and Linda Renfrey-Carroll for donations and assistance.

King of the Formal went to the popular man in red, Lachlan Dunemann, with Nicole Orate being crowned the Queen.

Andrew Peckham was titled the Prince and Dayna Dowling the Princess.

Local photographer William Thomson was commissioned to take some photographs from a parent of the students and their friends. formal participants, and the High School supplied the extras of other students on Wednesday.
