Volunteers needed to keep speedway roaring

LOCAL sporting groups have had it tough since COVID, and one stalwart association is now seeking helping hands to keep the racetrack alive and humming.

The Tennant Creek Speedway Association is urgently seeking volunteers to keep the racing genre alive in the region.

There are a variety of jobs available for volunteers, from being in the pits to scoring laps up in the speedway tower.

The local speedway has a long history in town and it’s up to the community to keep it alive.

To lend a hand, contact Col Fry at the Tennant Creek Tyre Centre or Cher Weller at Tennant Creek Auto Pro.
