There is just one week left to recognise a local St John Ambulance worker in the Barkly!

Nominations for the St John NT Excellence Awards 2020 are set to close on Wednesday 30 September 2020.

The awards celebrate and recognise staff and volunteers who demonstrate excellence in leadership or clinical practice, outstanding level of care, professionalism and compassion for members of the community.

“As emergency service workers, our crews are faced with complex and difficult situations every day,” St John NT Director of Ambulance Services Andrew Thomas said.

“However, their ability to navigate these emergency situations in a compassionate manner demonstrates their professionalism and passion for the role.”

“There are many deserving paramedics, patient transport officers, and emergency medical dispatchers who have been nominated so far and I know there are many more who have yet to be nominated.”

“I look forward to hearing from our community regarding members of our team who have gone above and beyond the call of duty,” Mr Thomas said.
