Juno takes out  TC Primary cross country
1 min read

LOTS of big smiles and enthusiasm were seen on the Tennant Creek Primary School students’ faces as they were put through their paces in the annual cross country obstacle course last week.

Students from Grades 3 to 6 enjoyed running out at Lake Mary Ann, with the Grade 3-4 students running 1.5km and Grade 5 -6 running 2.1 km courses.

Preschool to Grade 2 students enjoyed running, crawling, balancing, hitting and jumping over various obstacles.

The commando crawl under the camouflage net on the final station was a particular favourite of all the younger students, before racing to the finish line.

Very close results for the day’s competition: Flynn came fourth with 39 points, Noble third with 61, Peko second with 66 and with only two points the difference wth Juno which secured the victory with 68 points.

A big thank you to the students of Grade 6 who came out to man the various stations and guide the younger students through the cross country obstacle course.
