THE team Little Legends took home the win against team Have No Idea at the Barkly Central Softball Social 7s Championship. 

Tennant Creek High School students recently participated in the annual competition which took a new look this year, with only seven players on the field and a new pitcher every innings. 

The batter scores a run for every base gained, with an extra run for a home run giving the potential for five runs being scored by a batter hitting a successful home run. 

These changes allowed the game to run more smoothly and enable everyone to have a turn hitting, running and scoring for their teams. 

The students enjoyed playing, and improvements in their softball skills could be seen over the day.
