LAST week’s Letter to the Editor is correct (“Resident fed up with appalling services”, TDT 7/7/2023).

What will desexing do if the town is already overloaded with stray dogs and cats? 

I work in aged care and live in the “Bronx” – I can’t even walk my dog due to the fact that there are so many untrained dogs running out of their yards to try to attack my poor little terrier. 

I have tried ringing animal management when a dog tried to lunge at my daughter but due to the weekend, no one answered. 

I have also had very poor experiences every time I go into BP to get fuel or buy something, the staff all seem to be untrained and unprofessional. 

Being the main servo in town, it’s embarrassing that our visitors and tourists have to put up with the sour service.  Even the ceiling looks like it’s going to collapse. Where is all the money going? 

Also, I’m sure I’m not the only one but is anyone curious why they wasted taxpayers’ money on painting the lighting/CCTV poles on the main street? 

What is the purpose and wouldn’t funds be better directed towards getting new layers of asphalt for our neglected main street?
