I WOULD just like to express my sincere relief that the resident who was struck with a machete this week survived to see another day.

How much more can the residents of Tennant Creek, and in fact the entire Northern Territory endure?

We are all begging for help from the Northern Territory Government, but we are being ignored.

In turn, the Northern Territory Government is begging for us not to become vigilantes!

How can we not? How are we supposed to protect our families and our properties when the police and the courts themselves are powerless?

I keep hearing of all this community solution bullshit… we all have to work together and blah blah. Well nothing has happened. And it feels like nothing will ever happen.

When one of these attacks ends up in one of our Tennant Creek residents dead, then there will be action. ACTION BY THE PEOPLE! Enough is enough.
