Resident in shock about local police traffic campaign
1 min read

THE people of Tennant are still in shock after this week’s onslaught by Police.

They arrived en masse from north and south with pulsating lights and deafening sirens to bring this town under control.

Armed with guns, tasers, batons and pepper sprays they were ready to deal with any failures to indicate and degenerate drivers proceeding through stop signs with criminal intent.

Drivers hurtling past the two-metre perimeter fence at the school at 42kms per hour or recklessly endangering life travelling at 50kms with no seatbelt were swiftly dealt with.

Officers were most impressive in their magnificent black uniforms designed by Third Reich fashions and accessorised with a utility belt that would turn Batman green with envy.

The success of this operation will no doubt inspire further strategies to deal with minor crimes like assault, murder, theft and vandalism that have remained a lesser priority for years.
