The position includes the implementation and maintenance
of safety and quality plans and procedures that allow the
organisation to respond to industry standards, relevant
legislation and current best practice.
The position is also responsible for managing and
maintaining physical and portable assets to ensure they
meet legislative requirements, our asset management
obligations and, policy and procedures.

AGED AND DISABILITY MANAGER
Julalikari is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead Aged and Disability
Services in the delivery of high quality, responsive and efficient services to older
adults, people with disabilities and their carers, living in the community.
You will be responsible for providing leadership to staff across all service delivery
programs and for the efficient and effective achievement of project outcomes.
As the successful candidate you’ll have relevant qualifications in Aged Care or
similar and/or equivalent relevant experience. You’ll have a sound understanding of
consumer directed care, an understanding of wellness and how this applies to they
apply to the delivery of aged and disability services.
NIGHT PATROL MANAGER
The primary objective of this position is to ensure that the Julalikari Community
Night Patrol services are of the highest quality in regard to service delivery within
the Community nNight Patrol Operational Framework. The role is accountable for:
Ensuring the Night Patrol program operates effectively and efficiently within

BARKLY REGION ALCOHOL & DRUG ABUSE ADVISORY GROUP
The Aftercare Coordinator will facilitate access to a range of evidenced based treatments
and after care services to clients who are completing or have completed a period of
The Aftercare Coordinator will have extensive knowledge of relapse prevention strategies
and will aim to facilitate sustained recovery and integration back into communities.
Aftercare services may include referral and / or management of co-morbid physical and
mental health programs, support group meetings, counselling, advocacy and support.
The Aftercare Coordinator will possess high level knowledge of models of care for dealing
with substance abuse victims, including the disease concept of alcoholism and will have
knowledge of the social detriments of health and the cultural competence to address
factors affecting the social and emotional well-being of Aboriginal people.
This role will involve travelling to Remote Communities in Central and Barkly Regions of
the Northern Territory. It is expected that the Aftercare Coordinator will spend part of their
time away from Tennant Creek.
BRADAAG will provide a vehicle for use, the Aftercare Coordinator will ensure that they
comply at all times with the Vehicle Usage Policy.
l Carry out duties in accordance with BRADAAG’s safety policy, safety principles,
corporate values and strategies.
l Collaborative development of appropriate, individual aftercare plans using the
AADANT Case Management Toolkit
l Engage clients in evidenced based relapse prevention strategies providing clients
with the skills necessary to maintain sustained recovery
l Referral to appropriate Community services to meet clients’ needs and goals
l Assisting client to gain employment and supports financial stability
l Assisting clients to transition from Urban location to Remote Communities
l Assisting with legal matters
l Maintain client confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled accordingly.
l Daily recording and entering of accurate information into National Minimum Dataset
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
l Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or
Australian Association of Social workers.
l Tertiary Qualifications in Social Science, Health or related discipline
l Experience working within the Alcohol and Drugs Sector
l Minimum Cert IV Alcohol and Other drugs
l Demonstrated ability and experience with counselling victims whose lives have been
affected by Alcohol and other substance abuse.
l High Level Knowledge of Aboriginal Alcohol and Drug rehabilitation, treatment
services and education or practices.
l Excellent interpersonal and people skills and a high level of written and oral
l A real understanding of Aboriginal issues, people and culture and the ability to
communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal peoples.
l Ability to work under limited supervision.
l A Current NT Driver’s Licence
l Working with Children’s Card
l A current first aid certificate.
l A current Police Criminal History Check.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA:
l Experience recording and entering information into National Minimum Dataset System
l Post Graduate Qualification in Alcohol and Drug studies / Addiction or Mental Health
l Suicide Prevention Training Certificate
l Mental Health First Aid Training Certificate
