ONCE a week the Child and Family Centre hold an Elders Yarning Circle, but this week’s gathering was extra special with a lunch put on for them in honour of Seniors Month.

After listening to a presentation on the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 by Syed Jan from Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation, the Elders enjoyed a delicious lunch sponsored by local MLA Steve Edgington.

The Elders were able to talk and ask questions to those in attendance about any problems they may have and where they can get assistance and support if needed.
