Lions Club quiz night attracts big crowd
1 min read

INTERNATIONAL borders may be closed, but the Tennant Creek community relived their overseas experiences for the Lions Club International Quiz Night.

Held at the entertainment hub of the Tennant Creek Memorial Club, the night attracted 19 teams to compete for the main prizes.

There were auctions to compliment the fund-raising efforts, plus two local tradies donated their service time for the night.

Another hit with the crowd was the paper aeroplane challenge, which had the whole place pumping, cheering the paper pilots on to make the longest flight.

In the end, team “Harrison” won the night, but everyone won in the fun stakes, as it was a truly entertaining evening that raised approximately $2,500 for the Lions Club.
