THE Memorial Club was really pumping last Friday night, when Alice Springs band, Purple Patch turned up to turn the volume up on their first performance outside of Alice Springs.
Mayor Jeffrey McLaughlin, cunningly disguised as Dr Flouride (his secret identity), played a short opening set as a warm up before the boys took to the stage to rock the club into the night.
Members and guests were treated to an evening of energetic music from this young and upcoming Territory band, and it hopefully won’t be too long before they are back for a repeat performance.
